CR Buyers puts the FUN in FUNdraising !!

Make sure to mark your calendars for the CR Buyers Cowboy Christmas Dance to be held on Saturday November 18th at the SPJST Lodge 88.  Event details are coming and tickets will be going on sale soon!!

CR Buyers, a 501 (c)3 organization,  continues its work in the community by making its annual donation of 500+ whole chickens and 10 gourmet meat packages to local charities in Northwest Houston.  CR Buyers continues to support Boys and Girls Country  and Tomball Emergency Assistance Ministry (TEAMS) by donating meat packages obtained from the Houston Livestock Show & Rodeo^TM  Auctions to keep their food pantries stocked for families in need.

A big thank you goes out to CR Buyers Members Cam Raison, Mike Hollis, Paul Browne, Keith Powell and Sid Roe for taking time out of their busy schedules to make these deliveries.

We put the FUN in FUNdraising!

CR Buyers, a 501(c)3 organization,  participated in the "10,000 Cards for the Troops" campaign that was organized by the "The Morning Bullpen Show" on 100.3FM The Bull in Houston, Tx.   

Diane Anderle, Mark Stolarski, Richard Hale, Denise Sheppard, Denise Thompson and Chris Gilstrap delivered 800 thank you cards and 29 coloring pages to The Bull Studios on Friday June 23, 2023.   The CR Buyers representatives were able to deliver these cards while on the The Morning Bullpen Show and Diane was asked why she organized this effort... " I like giving back to the community and what better way is there than to support our men and women of the military.  These cards could be the only thing they receive after they return from a long day so its our way of saying thank you".     George, Mo and Erik of the local morning show were able to collect way more than their goal of 10,000 cards with an amazing final total of over 59,000 thank you cards for the troops.

CR Buyers held their annual Spring/Summer Dance the second week of June to kickoff our fundraising campaign and it was a great success.   Overall, CR Buyers was able to raise around $25,000 during the night between the live auction, silent auction, dessert auction, ticket sales and other fundraising efforts.   

 We want to thank everyone that participated in our event and  hope to see you again at our 2023 Fall Dance on Saturday November 18th.  Be on the lookout for upcoming details this summer !!

The CR Buyers Group once again stepped up to help the youth of Texas.  We donated $63,000 to HLSR in 2022, upping our total donations to HLSR to over $193,000!

On September 20, 2022, the CR Buyers Group donated over 300 frozen chickens, and pork and lamb packages to the Boys & Girls Country. The Boys & Girls Country's goal is "To change the lives of children from families in crisis by loving and nurturing them in a Christian home environment, raising them to become self-sustaining and contributing adults." 

We also donated 200 frozen chickens to TEAM - Tomball Emergency Assistance Ministries.  TEAM operates a resale shop, a food pantry, and an assistance ministry. They provide short-term assistance with food, clothing, shelter, rent, and utilities, as well as medical, dental, and prescription needs. TEAM is a ministry and, as such, provides assistance based on legitimate and thoroughly vetted needs. TEAM receives no government funding, yet more than 90% of all donations go directly to meet client needs.

The CR Buyers Group was honored by the HLSR Poultry Auction Committee on May 1st, 2021, for donating more than $100,000 towards the youth of Texas.  The CR Buyers Group is proud to be part of such a great organization...and has committed an additional $30,000 to the Auction on May 14th, 2021.   Please let us know if you would like to donate, or sponsor any of our events.

On August 24th, 2020 the CR Buyers Group donated 342 frozen chickens to the Boys & Girls Country.
