With the 2026 HLSR in the books, I wanted to give a quick update on our year for CR Buyers!! Overall CR Buyers had another successful year raising donations for the 2026 Show year.

First, CR Buyers was able to donate a little over $100,000 for 2026 . Again we were able to support Swine Auction, Lamb and Goat Auction and the Poultry Auction Committees.

Second, were able to sponsor a Calf Scramble Student, donate to the Souvenir Program Committee supporting FFA Chapters, as well as the Horse Show Junior Invitational.

Since the inception of CR Buyers, we have now committed almost $615,000 to the Youth of Texas.

Finally if you werent aware, CR Buyers doesnt stop there. All of the meat we collect from the Rodeo Auctions, we will donate to two area charities.... Boys and Girls Country of Tomball and Tomball Emergency Assistance Ministries (TEAMS). These two organizations have been a blessing to so many in need and CR Buyers is there to help support their cause.

Also a big shout out to all of our CR Ambassadors and Presidents!! Our volunteers are what make this organization go!!

CR Buyers Group, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, hosted its first annual Shrimp Boil Fundraiser Event in August and it was a great success!!    After Hurricane Beryl upended the original date , CR Buyers was able to regroup and reschedule the event and we were able to raise over $25,000 for the Youth of Texas!!   We would like to thank all of our sponsors, donors and supporters.

Since its inception, CR Buyers has continued to grow each year and with this total amount raised, it now takes our fundraising efforts to over $400,000.

CR Buyers, a 501(c)3 organization, continues to give back to the community by participating in the "10,000 Cards for the Troops" Campaign organized by FM100.3 The Morning Show Bullpen. 

On Friday June 28, 2024, CR Buyers delivered 2,025 Thank You Cards and 13 Coloring Pages for our military !!   These cards and care packages are sent all over the world to let our Troops know that we are proud of what they do defending our country every day!!

 CR Buyers will begin its "Thank You Cards" campaign for 2025 at our upcoming events as we look to break our current total of over 2000 cards!

** News Release **

CR Buyers, a 501c3 organization, reported a record year during its quarterly meeting by taking $110,450 to the Houston Livestock Show & Rodeo Junior Market Auctions in the month of March.  CR Buyers continued to show their support for the Poultry Auction, Swine Auction and Lamb and Goat Auction in 2024. 

The increase in donations represented an estimated 37% growth from 2023 .  This increase now takes CR Buyers to an approximate total of $385,000 donated to the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo since its formation.
