THATS A WRAP FOR 2026!!

With the 2026 HLSR in the books, I wanted to give a quick update on our year for CR Buyers!! Overall CR Buyers had another successful year raising donations for the 2026 Show year.

First, CR Buyers was able to donate a little over $100,000 for 2026 . Again we were able to support Swine Auction, Lamb and Goat Auction and the Poultry Auction Committees.

Second, were able to sponsor a Calf Scramble Student, donate to the Souvenir Program Committee supporting FFA Chapters, as well as the Horse Show Junior Invitational.

Since the inception of CR Buyers, we have now committed almost $615,000 to the Youth of Texas.

Finally if you werent aware, CR Buyers doesnt stop there. All of the meat we collect from the Rodeo Auctions, we will donate to two area charities.... Boys and Girls Country of Tomball and Tomball Emergency Assistance Ministries (TEAMS). These two organizations have been a blessing to so many in need and CR Buyers is there to help support their cause.

Thank you to all of our donors and sponsors over the last year. We could not do it without all of your generosity!!

Also a big shout out to all of our CR Ambassadors and Presidents!! Our volunteers are what make this organization go!!

We are looking forward to a big 2027, starting with our Spring Shrimp Boil Fundraiser on Sunday May 31st at The Hideaway on Dunvale. TICKETS ON SALE VERY SOON!!!

CR Buyers Shrimp Boil a Big Success!!!

CR Buyers Group, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, hosted its first annual Shrimp Boil Fundraiser Event in August and it was a great success!! After Hurricane Beryl upended the original date , CR Buyers was able to regroup and reschedule the event and we were able to raise over $25,000 for the Youth of Texas!! We would like to thank all of our sponsors, donors and supporters.

Since its inception, CR Buyers has continued to grow each year and with this total amount raised, it now takes our fundraising efforts to over $400,000.

CR Buyers Supports Our Troops!!

CR Buyers, a 501(c)3 organization, continues to give back to the community by participating in the "10,000 Cards for the Troops" Campaign organized by FM100.3 The Morning Show Bullpen.

On Friday June 28, 2024, CR Buyers delivered 2,025 Thank You Cards and 13 Coloring Pages for our military !! These cards and care packages are sent all over the world to let our Troops know that we are proud of what they do defending our country every day!!

CR Buyers will begin its "Thank You Cards" campaign for 2025 at our upcoming events as we look to break our current total of over 2000 cards!

Thanks to all that participated in this great cause.

** News Release **

CR Buyers, a 501c3 organization, reported a record year during its quarterly meeting by taking $110,450 to the Houston Livestock Show & Rodeo Junior Market Auctions in the month of March. CR Buyers continued to show their support for the Poultry Auction, Swine Auction and Lamb and Goat Auction in 2024.

The increase in donations represented an estimated 37% growth from 2023 . This increase now takes CR Buyers to an approximate total of $385,000 donated to the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo since its formation.

Thank you to all of our donors and sponsors and also a BIG THANK YOU goes out to all of our CR Buyers Ambassadors.

The CR Buyers present the Annual RODEO Party on Saturday March 2nd, 2024 at 12 NOON at the Main Club in NRG Center. We will also be having a RAFFLE (see below) and selling merchandise to raise money for the kids. This is hosted by the CR Buyers Group, a 501(c)3 charity. Registration will close at 1:30pm, the raffle draw starts at 1:45pm.

CR Buyers, a 501 (c)3 organization, continues its work in the community by making its annual donation of 500+ whole chickens and 10 gourmet meat packages to local charities in Northwest Houston. CR Buyers continues to support Boys and Girls Country and Tomball Emergency Assistance Ministry (TEAMS) by donating meat packages obtained from the Houston Livestock Show & Rodeo^TM Auctions to keep their food pantries stocked for families in need.

A big thank you goes out to CR Buyers Members Cam Raison, Mike Hollis, Paul Browne, Keith Powell and Sid Roe for taking time out of their busy schedules to make these deliveries.

CR Buyers Supports Our Troops.....

CR Buyers, a 501(c)3 organization, participated in the "10,000 Cards for the Troops" campaign that was organized by the "The Morning Bullpen Show" on 100.3FM The Bull in Houston, Tx.

Diane Anderle, Mark Stolarski, Richard Hale, Denise Sheppard, Denise Thompson and Chris Gilstrap delivered 800 thank you cards and 29 coloring pages to The Bull Studios on Friday June 23, 2023. The CR Buyers representatives were able to deliver these cards while on the The Morning Bullpen Show and Diane was asked why she organized this effort... " I like giving back to the community and what better way is there than to support our men and women of the military. These cards could be the only thing they receive after they return from a long day so its our way of saying thank you". George, Mo and Erik of the local morning show were able to collect way more than their goal of 10,000 cards with an amazing final total of over 59,000 thank you cards for the troops.

2023 Summer Dance was a Success !!

CR Buyers held their annual Spring/Summer Dance the second week of June to kickoff our fundraising campaign and it was a great success. Overall, CR Buyers was able to raise around $25,000 during the night between the live auction, silent auction, dessert auction, ticket sales and other fundraising efforts.

We want to thank everyone that participated in our event and hope to see you again at our 2023 Fall Dance on Saturday November 18th. Be on the lookout for upcoming details this summer !!

CR Buyers Groups donates $63,000 to the youth of Texas at HLSR 2022

The CR Buyers Group once again stepped up to help the youth of Texas. We donated $63,000 to HLSR in 2022, upping our total donations to HLSR to over $193,000!

CR Buyers Group Donates HLSR Meat packages to local charities

On September 20, 2022, the CR Buyers Group donated over 300 frozen chickens, and pork and lamb packages to the Boys & Girls Country. The Boys & Girls Country's goal is "To change the lives of children from families in crisis by loving and nurturing them in a Christian home environment, raising them to become self-sustaining and contributing adults."

We also donated 200 frozen chickens to TEAM - Tomball Emergency Assistance Ministries. TEAM operates a resale shop, a food pantry, and an assistance ministry. They provide short-term assistance with food, clothing, shelter, rent, and utilities, as well as medical, dental, and prescription needs. TEAM is a ministry and, as such, provides assistance based on legitimate and thoroughly vetted needs. TEAM receives no government funding, yet more than 90% of all donations go directly to meet client needs.

CR Buyers Group joins the "One Hundred Grand Club"!

The CR Buyers Group was honored by the HLSR Poultry Auction Committee on May 1st, 2021, for donating more than $100,000 towards the youth of Texas. The CR Buyers Group is proud to be part of such a great organization...and has committed an additional $30,000 to the Auction on May 14th, 2021. On August 24th, 2020 the CR Buyers Group donated 342 frozen chickens to the Boys & Girls Country. The Boys & Girls Country's goal is "To change the lives of children from families in crisis by loving and nurturing them in a Christian home environment, raising them to become self-sustaining and contributing adults."

CR Buyers Group Breaks $100,000 - Donates $26,500 to HLSR!

The CR Buyers Goup took part in the 2020 HLSR online Poultry Auction on March 20th, 2020.

The group spent $26,500 at the Auction! We purchased #22 (6th place Turkey) for $20,000 and #47 - 14th place broilers for $6000, and 5 pens of Broilers ($500). This puts our total spend with the PAC over the years at $100,583...Great work everyone!

I want to thank everyone for all your support this year. Lets set a goal to be bigger and better in 2021!
